Actually, I kinda like this half-finished. So this is either a WIP or a completed piece - haven't decided yet! 🤔
About 5 years ago, I participated in a "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge. I didn't always manage to complete an entire painting every day, though, because I could get hung up on some of the details and get totally derailed.
I've had a bee in my bonnet for a while now to use a vintage b&w photo as inspiration and paint a "colourized" version of it. I found this portrait of actress/artist Beatrice Chanler, and I couldn't resist!
Part of a WIP. At the last minute, I decided that she needed pink hair.
