Starting 2024 with a bang!

Arriving just in time for the holidays, I received my very own copy of ”Artist Mother Proud & Serious – Vol.1″, and oh, hey! Look who’s on page 124!!

Technically, this happened at the end of 2023, but I’m posting it today because I intend to use the good vibes from this incredible opportunity as a strong launch pad for 2024. And of course, all my thanks to AMPS’s Editor-in-Chief, Mona Lerch, for her undying faith in me, and her passion and dedication for putting this all together!

Happy New Year, everyone! Wishing you all the best for 2024! 🎉

spotlight feature: women unIted art mAgazine, issue #1

Women United Art Magazine, Issue #1

Well, if this isn’t proof that hard work, risk-taking, and a bit of luck can bring about some amazing results, I don’t know what is! Not only did my work get included in the inaugural issue of “Women United Art Magazine”, but I was also rewarded with a spotlight feature! That’s right: 4 whole pages devoted to my self-portraits, as well as my (hopefully not awful-sounding) answers to the magazine’s questions about women in the art world.

At the end of the day, I make art for myself, but I cannot lie: outside validation feels pretty darn good!

My Painting in Forget-Me-Not Press’s Second Issue!

To be honest, I don’t even remember how I came across Forget-Me-Not’s Press’s call for submissions, but as soon as I read that the theme for the issue was “A Cold Winter’s Night”, I just knew that I had some artwork that would fit the bill nicely. This is actually the very first time that I’ve ever submitted any art for inclusion in a magazine, and I am beyond thrilled that they selected “Mile End View” for publication!
